Job Title:
Junior Compositor
What do I do?
I am a digital compositor. I'm responsible for putting all the pieces of the projects together and add the finishing touches on everything to create the polished piece.
What's the coolest thing about ghOst?
The coolest thing about Ghost is the environment. I never feel constrained in the space I work. The people here are also awesome to work with and make me feel like a part of the team.
What is my Story?
I was born on Jan 11th 1982 in and raised in Minneapolis. From the early stages of my childhood I realize that I had a knack for drawing and it was always a big part of my life. After high school, however, I did not pursue art like I really wanted because I wasn't sure yet how I could apply my art skills in the job world.
On top of that, I was wanting to join the U.S. Air Force because of several reasons. One big one was the educational benefits that it offered me. I also had a strong desire to wear the uniform and serve my country. So in July of 2001, shortly after high school, I joined the Air Force and left for Basic Training. My job in the Air Force was a Crew Chief or also called an aircraft mechanic. That was the most rewarding job that I have ever had because of it's great importance to the Air Force and this country. I served a total of nine and a half years with four years active duty and five and a half in the reserves. During this time I went to the Art Institutes International Minnesota and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics. Very shortly after I joined the team here at Ghost Productions!
What is your favorite Movie?
I guess I would have to say Dumb and Dumber because it always makes me laugh and I am a huge fan of Jim Carrey. Dumb and Dumber also marks a fun time in my childhood so I reminisce whenever I watch it.
What kind of pet(s) do you have?
I have a bearded dragon and a leopard gecko. They are both very awesome!
If you were to go to any country(s) in the world, where would you go?
I would have to say Australia or New Zealand because they have a unique variety of wildlife and landscapes. I also want to see the Great Barrier Reef. The accents are cool too!
