The Caiman 5 is a surgical instrument used for laparoscopic and open surgical applications. It features a unique jaw design that provides uniform compression, resulting in a confident seal. The lower jaw hinge causes the tip of the instrument to close first, capturing tissue and preventing slippage. The upper and lower jaws then compress tissue in parallel, creating even compression forces distal to proximal.
